Thought you might all have a laugh at my expense. I'm going through the copy edits of my next book (THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MRS. TOM THUMB, out in August of 2011). Part of it is set in New York in the 1860s and in the manuscript, instead of writing "Five Points," (the bowery section of New York at the time), I wrote "Five Corners."
My copy editor circled it and said, "What the heck is a Five Corner?"
