Some of us old timers want to know how to join the secret club here to have folks actually talk to you. Me, I'm too old to care, but Swampy's feelings get hurt when he puts out those fancy posts with the high-falutin' jokes... only to get horn-swaggled by the fancy coffee crowd. Don't anybody out there have a sense of humor? Ain't there no room in Glen Ellyn for a couple a worn-out, beat-it-into-the-ground humor coots?

I don't drink a lot of beer. But when I do, I am afraid it is fairly fancy. Duvel. But I only drink a beer every few weeks.

Not sure what we're talkin' about, but I'm durn happy to meet you all. I think I might have known your Grandpops, but I can't remember. I can't remember much at all anyway, now that I think about it.

Don't know the Devil beer - ol' Drew over at the tap house won't serve it to me. Had to go there when Shannoons went downhill. And Yossi, I can't drink those fruity drinks cause they make me not make any sense.

Swampy, where are you? If you don't show up, the kids are going to think you're me again, and my wife (rest her soul) won't like that any more than she did the last time.

At our private BB meetings, we have never had any fancy coffee served. Regular coffee was available, but mixed drinks, and some very fancy ones at that (thanks, Clam!!!), are usually the norm. PM, it would be great to see you at any of our future get-togethers!

Don't listen to em' They won't let any newcomers into the club! I've been on this board for years and have yet to get an invite to rub elbows (with the exception of the card game, but Nika got kicked off for being social.)

The only reason Clammy talks to me, is b/c I let him use my parking spot. After all these years, he still hasn't picked up a beer tab for me!
