Happened to us, too - for the 2nd or 3rd time this year, with no apparent reason (i.e., no freakish storms or winds). We arrived home, after traveling from Indiana, around 7:00 to no power, but ours came on around 9:15. Houses across the street, though, didn't come on until sometime between 11 & 12.
I think we've gone for years at a time with no power outages, but in the last year we've experienced this more than once. It is kind of weird. But hey, it's a highly-populated area and these things do happen. At least we've never had to go more than 2-3 hours without power.

We had a blip that shut off the tv for 5 seconds, but that was it...I blamed my wife for starting up the dryer...guess it wasn't her fault...

Ruydah took out an entire electrical quadrant in the Highview/Taylor area on Thanksgiving Day. You can't blame him though, he was simply trying to microwave enough Swason Hungry Man Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy meals for his dear friend. It was an enormous task, but he was successful as his guest went away fat and happy. plus equals happiness.
