Creating different drop offs is one thing (referring to the article above). But everyone seems to be ignoring the real danger of what's in that section of street: the exposed pipes, deep holes, dangerous equipment just sitting there. Who cares how they get their kids to school? It's what happens before & after school lets out when all those kids are running around that's going to be the real situation.

I guess as of now -we're back in business. Now some progress to be made. Like that contractor in the movie The Money Pit: "Your name came up in the lottery, WE WORK TODAY! ..."

How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year,
Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

anyone else have the feeling they are playing a slot car racers game when they get on and off 355 at Roosevelt??

And why is Roosevelt under construction again right at the on ramps for 355?

I refuse to comment about the construction ON the expressways, but I will say that living right near that intersection makes it damned near impossible to get on and off of Roosevelt if you're not turning at a light!

....and please, everyone using Briar and Surrey to avoid the traffic and get to 53 faster in the morning....PLEASE STOP! You are only making it worse for those of us who actually HAVE to go that way! It took me nearly 15 minutes (not even exaggerating) to freaking turn right onto 53 yesterday morning. The line of cars waiting to do so was about 3 times as long. Please, just get on at Roosevelt instead of trying to "save time" ('cuz it actually doesn't) by going to North Avenue!

I hear ya'. I always hate when people use my street as a detour.

It's not even like it's the only through street....Finley's just East of it, Main a bit further....and the 53/38 interchange just West....it's not that difficult to find another street that ACTUALLY goes through and has *gasp* stop lights!
