1920's house...Had a rodding done last night from the inside cleanout stack on the west side of the basement, which then goes into the concrete floor and heads toward the middle of the basement where it then connects to the main sewer line. Video shows that this feeder line from the west stack has separated/collapsed, most likely from all the tree roots penetrating the clay pipe. So we're being told we have to break up the concrete floor and replace this feeder line with PVC, and then connect it to the main line in the middle. Soooooooo, can anyone recommend a Plumber/Sewer Line expert we can trust to bust up the floor and fix this properly? Thank you!
Armbrust (Wheaton) did this sort of work for us. We were very happy w/ their approach and work.
It sounds like you do not have an overhead sewer? If you have plumbing fixtures inc. floor drains in the basement, this would be the time to install an overhead sewer.

Ditto on Armbrust. They busted up part of our floor and put in an overhead sewer. Was done in less than a week and a half plus their pricing was competitive.
