Who has them, where are they on your body, why did you get them...and why should we not laugh at you for having one...or two....or three?

My annual trip to Kiddieland last night makes me ask.

"I didn't belong to any of the groups or cliques that are so prevalent in Glen Ellyn. I couldn't believe that people voted for me."

I got mine in the late seventies mainly to provide comic relief, and also to appeal to the young children who might be joining their parents in hearing my wonderful tales of fulfilling the fantasies of my many beautiful guests. Welcome, my friends!

Herve Villechaize jokes truly are underrated. I simply can't get enough of them.

Perhaps this will change your mind:

Common Park Ridge grammar school joke, circa 1981:

"Where does Tatoo live?"

"Des Plaines! Des Plaines!"

I have none but trainer guy has his initials on his calf- dumb college thing. I hope that neither of my daughters get them. It seems like more girls are getting them than boys now. Many of the young teachers I work with have them on their lower backs...I know this because with low rise pants and shirts that barely meet the waist band they are often in clear view when the teacher is sitting on the floor or in those little chairs leaning over a table.

Nothing says promiscuity quite like a tattoo on the small of the back. Gals with those are usually rarin' to go!! God bless 'em. Big Grin

It cracks me up that those were a fad a few years back. A FAD!! And a ton of women...perhaps some of you...got them. And without really uncomfortable laser removal...you'll have them when they begin to fade and your skin begins to flop. I love spur of the moment activities. Razz

Ah, the "tramp stamp."

All that tribal design crap is a shame. Get a big band-aid to cover that up.

I got two. half sleeve and another.

helps me hang with the dregs in GE, but there aren't many.

My feeling is that you don't get a tattoo cause it's cool, only leads to regret.

Yeah, love that SNL bit! Smile

Got a Henna tattoo on my ankle yesterday at Great America...just for kicks. I like the little ankle ones and have thought about getting one for years. I decided that was the best place since it's small, doesn't potentially stretch or sag as much as other areas of the body, and can be covered easily by socks. also like the little ring ones. After that, I don't think there are a lot of people that can wear them well. I will say though, I'm OK with them but I do think some people pull it off a lot better than others.

Permanent make-up, as in eyebrows, eyeliner, and lipstick, is basically a form of tatoo. Many women who would never wear a tatoo do that.

You need a tribal band.

I guess not, unless you put 2 spaces inbetween the letters.

Should we try some of the other 7 dirty words?

Ha! Now, THAT would look funny on me - unless I was wearing some leather. Wink

An old girlfriend of mine had a tattoo of a butterfly on her breast. Saw her at the pool last week. Looks like a bald eagle now

Got a customer that works for a fortune 500 company. When young, had a tattoo of a star put on his arm. Now,he wears a band aid whenever he has meetings wearing a short sleeve shirt. I think the bandaid looks worse than the star!

I have 3. First one when I was 35 years old.
