We've got a box of unopened baby food that we'd rather not throw away, but donate instead. Our son is somewhat of a selective eater, and didn't like this stuff. Anyone have recommendations as to where we can donate it? One of the churches I presume? It's jars of Gerber, still in their wrappings.

Located in Grace Lutheran Church would be a great place to start.

Also the Village keeps a list of service groups and organizations at their front desk. Call the general number and there might me a specific group for infants/single mothers.

I have no idea, but what a good idea for an outreach program!

nc211, I volunteer at the Food Pantry and will be there this week. If you would like, I can pick it up and deliver it for you. I can assure you that it will be appreciated as there are many families with babies.

The entry to the Food Pantry is on Forest. There will be someone there every day but Wednesday from 9 to 11 and from 1 to 3. I only volunteer once or twice a month.
