Just noticed this on my Nicor bill. From what I can gather it is just like linebacker from AT&T. Another warranty service that doesn't cover much yet they are happy to charge you for it. I'm thinking of canceling it to get my $5/month back.
Clams right! Dump it!!! All the gas leaks I've ever had were at or before the meter. Thus, covered by default. Just another utility money grabbing scheme!
