Greetings my friends. I was hoping to have the gathering in May, but things aren't lining up as I hoped, so June looks like the month.

I'm looking at the following dates and would like your inputs as to a preferred date.

I've decided that I like to go with the theme of "Taste of Glen Ellyn" except we would actually have food & drink from this town and no creepy carnies. For example, Amy could make her slushies, BitterBoy his pulled pork, Yigo 92's home brew, and me making sissy drinks. If your not the creative type, then I would ask that you bring something from a local merchant.

This party is open to all GEBB members and I hoping to have a nice turnout.

Update-I need to take June 14 off, my nephew's 1st birthday party lands on that date.

Question:
Which of the following dates would you prefer in June?

Choices:
June 21
June 28

So far we've got June 21 in the lead.

Unfortunately, I will likely be out of town on both dates. Frown Sorry.

Circumstances dictate a June 28 GEBB party. If you think you'll be able to attend, forward me your e-mail address (mine is in my profile) by June 1 so I can send out a formal invite.

Things will kick off around 6:00 p.m. and we will have food & drink. As mentioned earlier, the theme will be "Taste of Glen Ellyn", so if you have a special dish or drink, please feel free to bring it. Everyone is welcome even if you don't have anything to bring, the important thing is to come and have a good time.

I would consider them local, I always enjoy shopping there.

Are there any dates that would be convenient for me? Unlike the one you've picked?

Would the 4 rabbits terrorizing my yard this morning qualify as a taste of Glen Ellyn?

Just tell Mrs. Yoss they're chicken strips, she has two rabbits as pets.

A GEBB party I may be able to make!

Given the theme, perhaps I'll bring some 40's and make some Hobo Pie. Garnished with cigarette butts, of course.

And I won't charge a $500 temporary license fee either.

Yoss, glad you changed the date. The first date you had did not work for the brewmaster, however his 2 understudy's would be able to make it even though they are not of age.
I will let Mr Yigo92 know the date so he can start to prepare. I will bring something as well, just not sure what. As the date gets closer let me know the headcount. Do you have our e-mail address? It is the one that I rsvp'd with for Gus' party, if not I will get it to you.
Thanks in advance for planning and hosting this "yearly" event.

Just to make sure my busy social calendar is accurate, the 28th is the same day as the cardboard boat regatta, right?
