Channel 5 helicopter showed an accident at the Harris Bank - person being airlifted to Loyola for wrapping their car around a pole at Harris....how does one go fast enough to do that in that location? And, really, this is a news story?

I heard and saw that too. Where would a helicopter land for that? Unless I'm thinking of the wrong Harris location?
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.
Thanks to the 3 helicopters hovering over my house this morning, I avoided the buzz of the alarm clock. And also, really, thank you for waking the boy up early, it really makes his entire day waking up early. Thank you ABC, NBC and whoever the 3rd was, I am so glad you find reporting crap like this so important. Oh my, someone out there doesn't know how to drive, lets wake up the 27k residents of GE so that we can get good video of a jeep at a cash station. I may back out of my driveway and go over my curb slightly at approximately 5:45 tomorrow, is it a date?

I would guess there is far more going on than just a Jeep wrapping itself around the drive-through at the Harris Bank on Pennsylvania. There were at least three ambulances, a handful of police cars, and a ton of people over at the old Scripture Press. It was from there that the helicopter airlifted someone--we were driving past when the helicopter lifted off. Our guess is that there was some sort of incident at Scripture Press and that someone took off east on Pennsylvania, blew the stop sign at the Harris Bank, and went down the roadway to the drive-through. There was all kinds of car debris right at that turn to go down to the drive-through (and a cop blocking the way). We saw five helicopters, including the medical one.
No, I don't mind the airlift helicopter, in fact I honor those that work to save a human life. The 3 others that were hovering for over an hour I do mind.
And yes clam, I guess the Glen Ellyn Bitch Board has finally worn off on me. Thank you, fan, complain, GEM and the rest of you for turning me into one of the bitchy here.
