Mama,

I am concerned that you may be my wife.

Mama
E-mail me and I will gladly take your very dried firewood. Can I offer any junk in trade?

4MP You just answered a question for me. I was sure that wasn't your bike you were using for the Reids ride. Cute basket though.

It's already started.....the conversion vans pulling trailers are already trolling the side streets and I already saw cars parked on both sides of Park while their drivers dug through stuff on the curb.

Just saw someone that must have rented a trailer for the back of their vehicle just for this occasion. They have gone down our street a couple times already. Their trailer is quite full, they should have gone with the extended one at the rental place.

Sorry yigo, just got rid of a cord of Oak and Cherry - we converted over to a natural gas fireplace.

Hey Rob! What was that I saw you 2-wheeling down to the curb Sat aft? Looked like a bunch of carpet and/or padding. Way to make use of the clean sweep!

I'm almost disappointed I don't horde more crap such that I can take advantage of this weekend.

Important car accessory for idiot drivers who somehow end up driving a cool car off a cliff.

Man, just got back from walking the dog, and even tho everything is pretty well picked over, the trucks and vans are pretty much bumper to bumper.

Who are these people and what are they going to do with some of the trash they have piled in their truck beds?

Dins.. sorry for the late answer, but I just finished hauling all the crap that was left here from the move and the old replaced carpeting. Had to drive by Ohma's house as it was getting a lot of attention. Good stuff this year Ohma?

Fan.. I must have been too late with my van, didn't see anything worthwhile. Must have been picked clean already

Moving on the Clean Sweep year is definitely a benefit.

It is also amazing to watch two cars screech to a halt on Western and fight over an old Radio Flyer that was used as a planter. Lots of great scrap metal at my house that was picked up and undoubtedly turned into cash.....just too lazy to go farther than the end of my drive.

Probably, the Little Tyke's playhouse (which was already on its second family) and the Step 2 play set. A few weeks ago, I would have been sad to see that stuff go, as the kids are well beyond those days. But afterall, it's only "stuff."

No, I gave away some great stuff.

Unfortunately, it never made it to the curb. I gave away my Klipsch speaker set, the armoire which was posted below and all of the roughed up pottery barn furniture that graced my downtown apartment during law school.

If anyone is looking for said items, they should be in the resale shop next to Springbrook market where I was told, the proceeds go to some charity. So that is nice.

Melbourne is looking for cheesy plastic santas if anyone sees any.
I can only guess that these are for a practical joke.

I'm always curious about markets - I called the local yard again this year, the going price for scrap metal is double what was posted here two years ago and is now $200 a ton. Looking at the numbers last time it looks like this year the scrappers will make from $1200 to $2500 each off of GE trash depending on delivery location. Also saw a U-Haul rental pass by, can't say I remember seeing that before.
