I thought I read somewhere a few months ago about a house in the area that could be rented, fully furnished, on a weekly basis. Anyone recall this, or know what I'm talking about? I ask, because as the due-date for our second child approaches, we would like to find a place for the grand parents to stay for a month or so.

The first one you list has been the subject of quite a few discussions on the village board. They and the neighbors would be overjoyed if someone stayed there more than one week at a time.

Perhaps that might happen, DTM, if it didn't cost $1,300 - $1,600 per week (depending on when you stay). That's absolutely insane!

Thanks Mama for the links! Yep, that's the house I remembered seeing somewhere, didn't recall the condo, which looks to be a bit more inline for two retirees. Considering our first child was born within 90 minutes of "kickoff", the second child will have all of us hoovering over the expected mom like hawks, with dad wearing the full pro-baseball catchers gear! Already got DPH in both Garmins.

GESM2, actually, when you look at the per day rate, they're not that far off from a full service hotel. You get more space, less interference from "staff", and nice furnishings to enjoy. I've paid more than that at a few too many Marriotts around the country.
