Yes, puts too much pressure on his hip and not enough on lumbar when driving his long commute. Fine for short distances but after a long shift, hurts.

We'll check out Recaro, Yoss. Those are the brand of seats already in it but they seem to have some options that might be helpful.

Amy, Thanks for the offer. I have been to your house before to pick up our daughter. Our son and I are going to the Auto Show on Friday and I will sit it the car then. He is a bit of a car nut, so this is like going to the Super Bowl for him. He already has our whole day planned is concerned 7 hours will not be enough time.

BUT... I would like a ride in the Mini one day!

Great stuff going on outside. Blue Echoes seems to have some hostages in his house and the police are outside. I'm sure that is what is going on.

cut it out ya troublemaker. A very nice neighbor down the street from us got in an accident at the corner and it is WAY too cold out for them to be standing outside.

That's what the nanny said about the dog.

I can verify from the scene that there are two people locked inside of Blue Echoes home. The police have the roadway covered and appear to be calling in support.

More info as this story breaks....

Dr.Cox : Hey, Betty. Hey, Wilma. Oh, what the hell, you're only forty minutes late. Do I... do I smell beer?
JD: Uh, we... we, uh, we had a few
Dr.Cox : Newsflash, you can't drink and then come to work. You're not airline pilots.

Here's the scene from the ground. It's intense.

I should really unfurl that flag a little.

Look at those sharp cuts on the snow blowing job.

I think this is exactly the reason "Cops" has never been filmed in Glen Ellyn. Frown

BTW - We love watching "Cops." It's been on for something like 20 years, I think.

Cops is the best. I'd like to do that ride along thing that the GEPD has, but I am fairly confident that I would never been seen nor heard from again. Eek

It’s not Cops, but Rescue 911 filmed an episode in Glen Ellyn. If you squint real hard you can see my butt as we crawl in the front door.

Great story! Sometimes we all need a reminder of the sacrifice and chances these men & women in Glen Ellyn take to serve and protect us. Thank you.

I hate furnaces. Nothing that I own gives me anxiety like the furnace. It makes weird noises, is expensive and I don't understand it's workings. I hate furnaces.

Fan,

I agree with you on the furnaces. I also hate windows in the winter, especially on the cold days like we have been having. The windows always ice up on the inside, and essential ruin the finish over time. Yeah, you can take the humidity out of the air in the house, then your skin dries up.
