What do they do for you? Is it worth the pain it would cause to get out of bed?

She would have renewed hope that maybe the hours you spend online are worth it (at least worth a cupcake).

She can't make that complaint as she is always sitting next to me when I'm on this god forsaken board. That is, unless I'm at work...then she just calls me to tell me how dumb the things I write are...and how much she loves me despite that.

Your doctor's office stinks if they can't get you in with any doctors at all! PLEASE, don't go to the ER. Urgent care would be fine, Chiropractor would probably be fine, or see if another doctor in the practice where you go can see you today. This is exactly why I like the GE Clinic. They have a big group of physicians so even if my doctor is unavailable, there is usually someone that can see me if I need relatively fast care.

One of my two orthopods is at the Clinic...the other is at Northwestern. Northwestern got me the Thursday appt but called me back to tell me that if I came in, they would find someone to see me.

The Clinic dr.'s office transferred me to the spine clinic...which said they couldn't help me today or next week. So I called my doc back..he said he doesn't do backs and that I should call the spine clinic.....thanks.

I will try out the chiropractor if I can get out of bed.

Fan, go to the urgent care in Danada. Went there for the 4 bulging discs I have in my lower back. I could barely walk for 2 days, they shot my up with a pain killer, then a cortozone shot and I was walking normally within 5 minutes and felt fine. Follow it up with 4 weeks of PT and stretching and you will be good to go, I am. Playing in 2 hockey leagues right now.

That, or you can grab the vicodin and muscle relaxers I refused to take from my neck surgery out of our hall cabinet. That should get your through til Thursday. You know where the key is at, right?

Blue, are you still looking at the VW? If so, I can give you the name of the guy that sold me my Passat. He was by far the best price and offered the best service. He even tossed in some Monster Mats when I got him as low as he would go (I had to ask).
