The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention.... A loving silence often has far more power to heal and to connect than the most well-intentioned words.

That’s a cool car, but I’m really more a fan of land yachts

You always think that you have heard it all...until you realize...you have not heard it all.

My "WTF?" award winner for the week. Those poor ******* kids. Sadly, there will be another award next week...and the week after that...etc.

Thanks for starting the day off on such a cruel and crappy note. The only somewhat promising line in that story was that the kids actually live with their grandparents.

This certainly makes our beefs feel pretty minor and surmountable.

Perplexed - when is the next positive week scheduled??

Since I moved my office to our home, I have been accused of wearing bunny slippers in the office. I’m thinking it might not be a bad idea. What pair do you like better?

Tim recommends the killer rabbit slippers, but remember those are no ordinary slippers!

It's the new legal trend in from England. All of the barristers are wearing them.

Speaking of barristers, I subjected the adolescents to a viewing of "A Fish Called Wanda". They loved it. Don't call Fan's slippers stupid.

To call Fan’s slippers stupid would be an insult to stupid people.

Kevin Kline (Otto) was great in that movie.

Perplexed, get a grip! Real men never wear slippers, let alone bunny slippers. In the real world you either wear shoes or you go barefoot. (Unless of course you live in the South and then you need to worry about getting worms.)
