Do one or more posters really annoy you?

Click on their username next to any one of their posts. A drop-down menu will appear which includes, “Add <username> to my Ignore List.” Select it.

Presto! That person's posts will no longer appear on your screen. (You have to be signed in as a registered member for this to work.)

You can ignore a single post by clicking the small "Hide Post" link in the upper right section of the post. If you've ignored a user, their posts will be hidden by default.

If you want to show a single post from an ignored user, click the small "Show Post" link on the top right of the post.

What is this private topic feature? Does this mean Clam and Fan can start their own threads to each other and we don't have to see them?

Not-quite... but I can set up password-protected private forums. I set some up for a few local clubs a few years back, but after they set up their own blogs they no longer needed them.
