Having once worked as an usher, circa 1970, I have long been interested in the history of that building. Behind the screen and above the ceiling are ancient elaborate painted designs on the beams and walls. I would dearly love to see photographs of the interior before they were hidden with the installation of air conditioning.

I would dearly love to see the Dr. plow the majority of that block down...with the exception of The Glen. If money weren't an object (think Fish-type funds), I'd like to restore that place.

lionheart would know better, but I've heard there is also a two to four lane hand set bowling alley underneath the theater.

It'd be awesome to create a Southport Lanes-type place there.

This could be an illusion (or just my poor vision/judgement), but from the prairie path, it kind of looks like the marquee on The Glen is sagging.
