I think the devil is in the details here. Aldi is indeed the parent company of TJ's. Denying this would be like saying that Volvo is not owned by Ford...or that Daimler didn't buy Chrysler at one time. The latter may explain the quality drop off of the once-proud German company.

And they are on the same supply chain management.... And I'll vouch for the Volvo reference, and Saab.
