Red and brick red...not a good combo. That's all I am saying.

From what I've seen in my walk by's, it looks like the interior will remain mostly in tact. I wonder who from Epub's staff will be coming on board, hopefully Kelly and the other bartender (sorry, name escapes me) who goes to Florida in the winters. They made Yoss's Cosmo just the way he likes it.

We now refer to ourself in the third person? Men drinking Cosmos? That's just not right......what was it refered to as? Ah yes, a girltini. Scotch, try that.

Yoss has been known to refer to himself in the third person. Drinking Cosmos is my not so secret shame and Yoss has taken his fair share of abuse for it. Young Yoss did the Scotch thing in college-from what I can remember, it wasn't pretty. Same with Tequila.

Nothing, and I repeat, nothing, ever looks pretty when it comes to Tequila.

We sip some tequilas on GE Place. They aren't your marg-a-reeta mixing types. These are more like drinking scotch. Really nice...in moderation. Think sipping, not drinking.

I attended a tequila tasting once. The expert said good tequila is meant to be sipped. What kind are you sipping, Clam?

That would explain the shorts you were wearing on the Fourth of July.

So when will Tap House Grill open its doors?

I was told the evening of September 26. Look for a Nathan Lane look-a-like, that will be Clam holding court.

I happened to be in the CBD about 9PM last night and there were quite a few folks throwing back a few inside the Tap House Grill. The door was open but I didn't have time to go in. I don't know if this was a friends and family try-out for the new place or if it was the real deal. For what its worth, I saw a guy coming outside to light up a smoke so perhaps the non-smoking rule has been retained. Fingers crossed. Also.........no signage except the small painted one on the door.

I called them last week about a group thing I am trying to organize and they did say they were staying smoke free...especially given that everyone has to be by January or sometime soon.

From what I have heard from speaking to people there, Monday and Tuesday were trial runs with friends and family......working some of the kinks out I guess. I believe that they will be open for business tonight (Wed.)

They are opening tonight. Spoke with Amy who answers their phone. (Great name, isn't it?) I might just take the kids there tonight....perhaps I'll see some of you!?
