Hello all,

Our lil' nugget is going to turn 1 in about 2 months, and I'm looking for a good place to hold the shindig. It's going to be mid-November, so outdoor spots are out, and we need to accommodate at least 30 people. Any ideas? I'd be open to a restaurant or catering in a party room of some sort.

Thanks,
Dana

Oh - and there will only be about 5 or 6 kids present, mostly adults.

Thanks!

Congratulations...that went by fast! You probably have the pick of where you want to go with the current economy. Did you want to keep it real local?

I'd like to stay pretty local; I'd probably go as far as Oakbrook. I left messages with Morton Arboretum and the GE park dist, but haven't heard back yet. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

We have used Village Links. They can easily handle 30 people. They are cheap and you would have the place all to yourself.

The Village Links and Glendale Golf Club are both great choices...the Abbington on Butterfield...

Bells and Whistles does a nice job with these events - you can get the entire back room... The Links does a great job as well!

I second Bells & Whistles.

They will have a movie on the monitors, there are plenty of kids toys and they may even let you bring in your own adult beverages. Food is great and there is tons of ice cream!!!!

We also went to a local photographer and he shot photos of our 1yr old destroying his first cake! Priceless Photos!!!

Sorry, Had to add the sunglasses to keep my secret identity on the BB! Wink

Sure hope I can get that sharpie off the print, or my wife is gonna be mad!! Eek

Oh, If you use Bells & Whistles or the Photographer. Tell them "Jim Sent Me!"

Apparently the economy has recovered in Naperville. It was standing room only tonight at Maggianos
