So whose planning on attending? I see where THG is going to participate, which gives some creedance to the name of the event.

Didn't the Bells & Whistles lady say GE businesses would get a price break on hosting a booth this year? Hopefully this really will be a Taste of GE.

I'm pretty positive we will go Saturday evening providing this weather improves. I'll undoubtedly end up buying "last blast" bracelets for my kids on Sunday so I might drop by the taste then too.....should we pick a time and place to meet and anyone who wants to join, can? |

Amy-I think that will work, the entertainment for Saturday looks good. If the weather goes bad we can always retreat to THG.

This and the 4th are the only times in a year the village will do anything about the bums. ENJOY NEIGHBORS!

Sounds like a plan! Others are welcome to join if they are around. Otherwise, hope to see a lot of people Sunday morning (the 18th) from 7am to 9am for DBC cleanup!

My buddy just was at a carnival last friday with his camera. He took pictures of a few carnies but removed them off his site because he felt bad. I am trying to get him to put them back up, here is the link for future reference for carnie goodness: Romeoville Carnival |

My neighbor shoots carnies at the TOGE every spring. He has an amazing collection.
