I luuuvvv the Golden Wok! They're crab rangoon is flipping awesome! That's where I usually order from when I'm at home.

Otherwise, my second favorite Chinese is in Addison sadly. Best sesame chicken and egg drop soup I've ever had, and they have $5 lunch specials. It's called Good Luck Chop Suey and is on Lake St. at Mill Rd., right by Millie's Pancake House if you're ever in the area looking.

I like Chicks and Salsa.

Las Vega (on North Ave. west of Main on the south side of the street in a little strip mall), is awesome authentic Mexican food. Very affordable and serves beer if you like. Ask for the dark red salsa with your burrito or tacos. Everything is very good. Coming from main Street Glen Ellyn, you need to drive past it and do a legal U turn to get into the strip mall. Well worth a U turn.

Another great and authentic place is on Roosevelt and Joliet Road -- in a strip mall on the Northwest corner. I do not recall the name. It is another very good authentic place I've found around here or west. I eat there every saturday during golf season. You'll pass a few other choices before you get to Joliet Road. Wait for this place.

I have an addiction to these authentic Mexican places. I've tried them all and these are my favorites. Free chips and salsa and a burrito (steak burrito is best at both of these places) for under $5 plus tip. Love these places.

For a fish taco, we've got the best right here with Chicks and Salsa.

GESM2 - I know the guys who own M&N Auto, Frank and Wade. I take ALL of the family vehicles there for most work, especailly the bigger, more complex work.

You can count on 100% honesty from the M&N guys. Not the cheapest place but not too bad price-wise.

IF I have the time, I will sometimes go into Millies and be a pancake piggy while my car is being worked on. Millies is closed on Mondays so I never make a car fix arrangment for a Monday.

LOL!

Is Good Luck Chop Suey right in that same little strip mall with Millies?

Yes, the place in the strip mall at Roosevelt and Joliet is very good.

And if you like to cook your own the grocery there is also great- meat counter is excellent for the $- maybe not the prettiest cuts like Dominicks butchers do but who cares. And a lot of other products- shelves of great hot sauces.

Tried Naf Naf tonight (after I destroyed dinner on my grill) Had Cedar Grill yesterday.

By far Naf Naf is the best of the three. Everything was fresh. Very good! Friendly staff! Also had a Turkish Coffee. I think I'll be up for 2 or 3 days now. WOW!

Drove by this place for 4 years, but was always too scared to pay it a visit...looks like I missed out.

I would always hit La Chiquita instead. Love their tacos with just onions and cilantro and meat...yum.

I thought we all agreed never to use the word "yum" unless we were talking about a ticker symbol.

Thanks for the heads-up on M&N....I often have a hard time finding a shop that takes me seriously when I tell them what's going on with my truck, apparently being a chick means I don't know an engine Roll Eyes

I've never actually been INTO Good Luck Chop Suey, they always deliver for me to work....but I do believe that's where they are, yes. The add is 615 W. Lake St. As for Millie's....I do believe my great aunt used to own it....unless I'm remembering my mom's story wrong.

Just wanted to report that the owner of Chicks 'n Salsa went above and beyond to make good for our long waiting time a couple months back. In fact, before the owner knew I was there, the orders placed were being finished within 4 minutes. That's quite a change for the better.

Thanks, Chicks 'n Salsa!

I can verify this change in order speed. We were there last Friday, ordered 6 fish tacos (and expected at least a half hour wait -- but were prepared for 45 minutes) -- so we buzzed next store to Dominicks.

10 minutes later, we came back to check -- hoping they might be waiting for us -- and they were sitting on the counter!

Awesome. Fastest time yet -- more like how it used to be with Baja.

Superb fish tacos, too.

The best veggie tacos evah!
And our order was up in half the normal time. I will definently start heading there more frequently now.

Don't mean to hijack thread, but I noticed you mention Naf Naf. I heard it was moving to another location. Is it still on Ogden (in the converted Taco Bell building?)

Still on Ogden. Supposedly moving in August (so, probably more like September/October) to lovely Freedom Drive, which is the new road that the reconfigured I-88 Naperville Road exit dumps onto. In between Warrenville and Diehl, just west of, and parallel to Naperville Rd.

I had dinner there yesterday. Since my last fish taco was subpar, I got one fish taco and a chicken taco. The girl at the counter was very nice and genuinely concerned that my last fish taco was too fishy. I probably could of gotten it for free, but I didn't see the need.

The service was very fast! I'm not sure what Cindy did to improve the speed, but it sure was nice to be in and out in record time. Both tacos were great! Got to love great tasting, fresh and healthy fast food!

Chicks'n Salsa is back on my list!

My only ongoing issue with them is the tres leches cake looks so good! Every time I go in there I obsess about trying a piece for days afterwards.
