Hmmmm.....thanks for that.

Yeah....I.....uh.....I knew there was a reason I voted for you. Confused

And don't deny the story about the pink Zoey 101 backpack I saw strapped on your back this fall.

Is that the time I was struggling up your steep street with 40 pounds of kid in my bike trailer? It was all my fat a** could do to eek out a "hey!". One of your potholes almost put me in the hospital. As I recall, that was the day of the infamous Morgan Park - GBW game.

Your post made me search Zoey 101. I had no idea what that is, as my kids are too young for that. I assume you mean the pink camouflage backpack that belongs to my 7 year old? I won't deny it. So long as you won't deny that I looked damned cute with it on.

See you on Craig's List.

We are set for March 15th St. Pats Party. I will keep you posted on the details. Do you have any names in addition to Ohma?
Let me know.

In my vast archives I probably have the names of almost all the GEBB exclusive clique.

Fear my minions, people. Fear them.

Shoot me an e-mail with the details.

I was talking about names for your even more exclusive group that meets up on Main Street.
Oh, and I think you can now have laser surgery for those minions.

must have a weak stomach and/or personality

Interesting comment. My idea of a weak personality is someone who spends what seems to be every waking hour/minute posting on a community message board, wasting precious time at work, with family, friends, or actually doing some good out in the community by volunteering ones time and talents. My years as a therapist tells me that not only is this unhealthy, but is only a crutch to boost what must be an extremely low self worth and/or weak personality.

Well thank you for that and welcome to the message board.

It probably is way worse posting on the board rather than reading it. God, you just undid all those years of therapy. Back to self-loathing.

Wow - and all of these years I thought that sharing thoughts and feelings was a considered a good thing. Confused

I also thought pretty highly of myself until that harsh judgment!

Anyone know any good therapists?

You know me better than anyone else around here. Which is why I'd love to join you for a coffee. But you'd have to come north...maybe into town.

My years in therapy tell me that you are either:

A. Not a therapist; or
B. Not a very good therapist.

I am a dyslexic agnostic insomniac.
I lay awake at night wondering if there is a dog.

I think people create these online persona's as a way of escaping from their mundane lives. A chance to shed their skin and be something new, something fresh, and possibly to gain more attention yet.

You are wrong. In real life, Clamato is like an angry cat with a gun. However, he is attention seeking.....hmmm, I resent what Fish wrote....you appear to be a very good therapist.

Fish, you are exactly right. No therapist worth their salt would throw out a statement like that.

My Dad would say something like that. And he would be correct. Can I have a hug?

BTW, where do you do your counseling?

Also...Mr. Shale is actually Mr. Baskin. The name Mark Shale was derived from the combination of Mark Baskin's and Shale Baskin's names. They are the sons of Al Baskin (not to be confused with the Baskins menswear chain which was bought by HartMarx, IIRC) who opened the Al Baskin store in Joliet in the late 1920's. He begat two sons, Mark and Shale, who subsequently opened Mark Shale in the 1970's. After a long and distinguished career, marred only by the lure of over-expansion, Shale retired and handed the reigns over to Scott Baskin. Shale was a very nice, gentle, grandfatherly type...Scott is not.

I hope this clears things up.

And, admittedly, I prayed long ago for a mundane life and God would have nothing to with it.
