Okay they are a franchise but we like the manager Erin. We use Firestone on Roosevelt. They have coupons online at their website. And you don't have to go across a bridge.
I like Gearheads. They have moved up even further on my favorite people list when they fixed my wipers, added coolant (all without power) and allowed me to hide out when the tornado sirens came on last Wednesday!
I've had AC work and alignments done at the GE Firestone. They were nice to deal with and did a good job- contrary to the Danada Firestone. Otherwise I change my own oil. - Amsoil.
Will never spend another dime at Firestone in Glen Ellyn.
Will never spend another dime at Village Garage in Glen Ellyn.
How 'bout the dealer?
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.
I always had great experiences at Village Garage....the guys were nice, NOT condescending (which is huge, being a chick who knows a little about cars), not over-priced, and did NOT do unnecessary work. And I took a Ford there
I've also recently gained an affinity for 3-D over on Roosevelt in Lombard. Those guys are funny and decently priced, but you've gotta make sure you know what you're going in for and that's all they do. For example, if you don't want them to change your air filter or oil filter when they change your oil....tell them that.
Should I give up, or should I just keep chasing pavements....even if it leads nowhere - Adele
