I'm taking my son to OAD on Thursday for a knee problem. Glad to hear they are good. His regular Dr. won't sign the track form for Hadley unless we have this complaint of knee pain checked.

Well...something good came out of my visit to Honey after all. Had never heard of this place before that fateful night. Upon arrival home everyone was very complimentary of "my" choice. OAD treated us better than that "Best" steak sandwich did. Big Grin Thanks, Scotty.

Does this mean I need to take my son to Honey after the Dr. visit. He deserves a cupcake, last week he had two shots, a TB test and a trip to have an EKG and Echocardiogram. All we wanted was the track form signed.

Today's GE Sun reported that a 57 year old gentleman from Wheaton was arrested for "theft" at Honey last week. Somehow it sounds like there's a good story here. Anyone know any details? What'd he take, a few cupcakes and a chai tea?

Unless it was an employee who was caught with his hand in the cash register.

Which, at Honey, puts him pretty close to the misdemeanor/felony dividing line. Smile

Did you notice that Honey was mentioned in the Chicago Mag for the peanut butter cookies. I'll have to try some.

Speaking of Honey, I had lunch there today. After a couple of brunches and a couple of dinners, this was my first lunch experience there. Sat in the back room (which I much prefer to the front) and the place was hopping. Both my companion and I were pleased with the food and service. But the place is awfully loud and that would give me some pause about going there for a business lunch. If they could make the sound in there just a little less bright I think it would be welcome.

Who is calling who a cracker, cracker?

I had the pot pie. Just had a hankering for it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thought initially I'd take half home for later, but instead cleaned my plate. And I don't generally have wine with lunch, but I couldn't resist the viognier. Especially at $4.95 a glass!

Wow, they must have a wonderful wine supplier to be able to offer that for $4.95! Smile

OK, I couldn't get much more cracker if I tried...my skin is glowing pasty white from my months of hibernation. I will stand out like a sore 'doigt' with the Parisians next week!

Oh, and the last time I was at Honey I tried the smoked salmon frittata. Fantastic. Tell BB to try it.

OK, since you finished the whole pot pie, 15 more minutes of Spinning for your cracker @ss!

Do you really think that voignier at $5 a glass is a shocking bargain, GER? You can go to Sam's and get all you'd like at $12-14 a bottle. I hope whoever is selling that stuff to that poor woman can sleep at night. Big Grin

Well, cupcake, it would be a shocking bargain if it were a E. Guigal Condrieu 2005, would it not? Big Grin

But then again, it would have sucked if it were that voignier.

How is the pooch? Did it puke on the new car seats on the way back through the Cheddar Curtain?
