The headline suggests that there are more Wingstops to come in Glen Ellyn. I wonder how many they will open.

I hate to do this to two veterans of the BB. But a thread already exists for this topic....

Oh. Is this place next to Game Stop? Too lazy to look...have the reviews been flavorable? (a little play on words)

My dedication to fitness and changing my unhealthy ways, will not allow me to go back. They weren't the worst that I have had, but definitely not the best.......very average....

Is that why I no longer see you at the rub and tug?

I am a dyslexic agnostic insomniac.
I lay awake at night wondering if there is a dog.

too lazy or just losing your memory? you have two posts at the other wing stop [sic] thread.

btw, if you're still too lazy to see the reviews, here's mine: don't waste your time/money.

I walked by on my way to Gamestop and thought it was closed. It wasn't, just dark and their signs are quite high. Son is interested in trying.

I changed rub and tugs. The one you told me to go to kept referring to me as "that Fish guys friend. You know Fish, the guy who thinks he can breath through his balls."

I don't know what kind of weird crap you are into......

Gamestop . . .or Wing Stop [sic]? It's rarely dark in Gamestop.

Anyone notice they have the name of their location and hours painted backwards on the front door? I'm thinking you would want this information facing towards the outside...

Hubby and older son had a favorable report of this place yesterday (they stopped in for lunch while Christmas shopping). They have a fairly vast experience upon which to draw, in terms of comparison (they still maintain Hooters has the best wings, hands down), so I wouldn't take their approval lightly.

Buffalo Joe's, Evanston

Had the best wings ever when I used to eat them. Just don't see how a franchise can excel at anything when it comes to food. I may be wrong.

Scribbler, your son and husband are right.....no reason to go anywhere else except hooters......

For the wings, of course. Just the wings.

What a coincidence - I get the same story at my house. Those must be really remarkable . . . wings!! Smile

A discussion about great wings is pretty pointless. I think its akin to asking who has the best PB&J. Some place may indeed be tastier than others, but they can never separate so far from the pack that you "just gotta have em'".

Hooters clearly has other attractions (though I've never been a fan of the short-shorts, gym shoes and pantyhose combination) and heavy marketing to make you think their wings are good.

Wings are, IMHO, just a delivery method for the sauce. And while I like dabbling in the straight up hot sauces, I find that in my old age I like sauces like Buffalo Wild Wings' Asian Zing and Mango Habanero.

The long-term issue with Wingstop, I fear, will be the long wait time and lack of booze. In a Hooters or BWW, waiting 15 minutes when there's a pitcher of beer and several friends around is not a problem. But 15 minutes on bench by yourself next to the takeout counter is interminably long.
