We need to define what "dangerous" is. It was reported that there were about 55,000 new AIDs cases in the United States last year far exceeding expert predictions. What are we going to wait for, a cure I hope??? Or should we stand by and hope that people will accept thier position in life and either abstain from unsafe sex or drug use??? Meanwhile, the Pandemic goes on and the human race is unwilling to do anything about it in the name of an individuals civil rights.
And Gus, I admit, I'm a bit confused by your posting. We all know what causes a person to contract HIV and some people are not taking the measures to prevent that from happening. Fortunately or unfortunately, God gave us free will and unfortunately, some humans will always manage to screw up that gift. Certainly, I haven't always done everything right - though I have tried.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the preview. The place looks great, coffee good, milkshakes to die for. I saw lots of yummy sandwiches too, tons of kids with ice cream cones. This place is perfect for our downtown. Official opening monday the 24th. Give the young teens some time to get their feet wet, for the majority of them it is their first job, and this place will rock.
B&W Snackery is now open and we have heard really positive reviews from those who have tried it. It appears that they offer coffee and goodies for the before work or early riser crowds as well.
I stopped in today. This has to be one of the top 3 best Glen Ellyn build-outs in the last ten twenty years.
Some food samples were on the counter to try, and I did. Haven't ordered anything yet — I'll save that for when Mrs. '58 is with me — so no food review just yet.
There were plenty of teens and pre-teens scurrying about the place playing video games, and I can see it getting fairly noisy at times. But customer noise in a GE business is far better than silence from no customers ;-)
But wow! What a change from the worn out old looking place(s). The attention to detail is stunning. They should get some award for what they've accomplished thus far.
One nit pick. The menu up on the wall has print too small to actually read with 20/20 vision. They should either have those re-done before everybody asks them to read the menu for them, or hand out some cheap low-power binoculars.
Rod: I've been wanting to be on your show in the worst way for the longest time. Letterman: Well, you're on in the worst way, believe me.
They have some printed menus on the counter for those who can't see the menu boards.
As far as a food review goes, Well lets just say I have been there everyday since they have opened.
The kids can go play in the 405 main side and you can watch them on one of the large lcd monitors in the 401 location.
I have tried the Turkey sandwich, It was excellent! Kids had the grilled cheese and loved it. Today we tried the reuben sandwich! Excellent. The fresh squeezed O.J. is refreshing! Have also tried the majority of the frozen treats and I must say they were all very very good. The coffee is some of the best I have had! The pricing is reasonable and the staff is very attentive! I really like the fact that there are plenty of adults working (and keeping an eye on the high school employees that tend to be easily distracted from their tasks when they see their friends come in.)
The build out is state of the art and creates an exceptionally comfortable atmosphere with "old fashioned" charm!
Congratulations Tracy!!! Standing ovation for your ideas, efforts, customer service and product quality!

What are you talking about?? That building has been one of the best looking well maintained gateway historical landmarks in the entire CBD for the past 24 years!!!
