I don't know why, but it's been a few weeks now, hasn't it? They were telling people they were shutting down as far back as a couple of months ago, I think - Octoberish, if I recall.
I never liked that place - it smelled terrible and it was a puppy mill. But I do still miss the Glen Ellyn Pet Shop over by Trader Joe's. I gave them a lot of business over the years.
Now we're forced to give our money to the big box stores - Petco, Petsmart. I never have been satisfied with the little store in Wheaton, on Roosevelt.
