Went in to purchase my daughter shoes at a GE store and had a great experience! They scanned her feet, put her in a variety of shoes and put her on the treadmill to see if her ankles fell in or out when wearing them. Not cheap $100 but a family history of leg and foot problems and I think she's hit her staying size...was worth it. Person assisting us was knowledgeable and comfy chatting with a teenager.

I went in three weeks ago and bought two pair of shoes, very helpful, very nice. The offered a discount for GW students too.

Interesting....I always used the measurements, feel, and hand-testing method of fitting shoes to a customer's feet....however I'm sure radiation exposure was just as accurate, lol.
