I saw the discussion in another thread about a Chipotle proposal for the development along Roosevelt.

If you are interested here is some nutritional info about Chipotle (and many other restaurants at DietFacts.com .

Chipotle - 13 inch beef burrito - 1026 calories

Calculate the calories in your favorite Chipotle meal.

Chipotle Nutrition Calculator

Don't forget to add a large Coke (calories are dependent on the amount of ice) and chips.

Not certain that I want to look. Is the chicken bowl sans cheese, guac and sour cream bad? I just get rice , beans, meat, tomatoes, salsa, corn and lettuce...and a tortilla on the side.

Are you about to ruin my day....Nadine???

If that calculation is true...the chicken bowl with any fat laden stuff...is still poison.

WTF could be in corn, tomatoes, lettuce, chicken, rice and black beans?

I smell a rat. Chicken bowl had 1026 calories and 3,000,000 mg of sodium.

The bad news - that's sans cheese, mayonnaise and oil.

Chipotle = McDonald's
Baja = Wendy's
Qdoba = Jack in the Box (they're starting to pop up around the area)

It's fast food masquerading as something that looks vaguely healthy.

well, sure, they're fine... if you consider getting 80-90% of your daily sodium from one meal fine... (and that's without chips)
