Yeah, those stars and stripes are pretty tattered. I often think the neglectful display of the flag is worse than intentional acts such as flag burning - but I'm sure that's just me.

I spoke to the guy in the post office about the flags. He walked out with me and agreed they were in sorry shape. He went right in to see if he could get new ones today.

Someone do me a favor and let me know if they get new flag(s) before the parade.

Has anyone been to Panfish park lately? If you think the CBD looks like crap, you really should stroll around this dump! There is so much garbage and junk floating in the water on the west side! I was there for wedding photos this past weekend, and we actually had to go to another park. So much for the water feature! Oh yeah, and whats with the slum of a hotel to the north. . . Yuk!
