They really should have a thread of their own. BTW, Diane. . . my guess is it would be easy for you to sign up on this BB under a different name and pass your info along that way. IMO, your group offers more pertinent information than the Chamber of Commerce, the Economic Development Committee or the Village of Glen Ellyn combined.
Whether or not some think your group is antagonistic or overly critical, truth be told, Go Downtown is what the above-mentioned groups should be striving for and working in conjunction with. How you were banned for you insightful, productive commentary and observation is beyond me.
Diane can sign up as a different name/email addy, trust me.
GoDowntown is a great organization, a positive light in this town, and should have it's own section at this place. Diane and the rest are doing a wonderful job keeping people informed, much better than a quarterly mailer or sign on main street. Sending out 1, 2, 3 or so emails a week on downtown happenings, sales going on at downtown stores, or updating the activities of the village government are extremely valuable. For those constantly on the run but want to keep up with what is going on with our wonderful downtown area, her emails are very helpful in that.
