Also European Market, the deli right on Crescent. I would think Bende's would have a good selection, too.

I respectfully disagree with Scotty… I think Whole Foods has a better selection.

Really? I had no idea! I guess we will have to stop there when we go to Triggs.

MRS. A, do you ever got to Monicals Pizza in Woodruff?

Love the Cheese Board! I'm heading up to Minocqua/Boulder Junction tomorrow for, of all things, a sales meeting.

Perplexed, Monical's is OK. I've always preferred Twin Bay on Lake Nokomis for pizza.

We've never been to Monical's Pizza. Been to Twin Bay many times. Ten Point Bar in Harshaw serves a decent pizza, too. Still looking for decent Italian food. Mama's is terrible, but Anthony's on hwy 47 is the best so far. Everything is cooked fresh to order.

I wish some of you guys would stop and see us sometime.

My husband had a place in Tomahawk before we were married. I always loved Ed Besse's Nokomis Inn for the chicken liver appetizer. Delicious.

While I do like Binny's and the knowledgeable staff at Whole Foods, you can't beat Trader Joe's cheese prices. They've got a great selection & the best prices if you know what you're looking for. I did the Binny's-then-Trader Joe's circuit this past weekend (TJ's doesn't carry cigars, unfortunately) and the huntsman cheese was about $2 more/lb at Binny's vs. TJ's.

I go to Trader joes for the basic stuff. If I want something different or very good for a dinner party, I go to Whole foods. They will open anything for you to try before you buy.

They carry cheese by this amazing cheese maker, Herve Mons. They are incredible!!
