Do we have any "arty" types that could do this in GE?

Sorry for the problems. Try this link. Read or listen to the story about "Dressing up Skokie"

Can't get the link to open. Suggestion for what program to use? I'm on a PC.
Thanks.

Thanks - the second link was fine and I think it's a fantastic idea. As a matter of fact, as a former art teacher, I would volunteer to help the EDC, Go Downtown, or whomever, get this moving in GE. Heck, they can display student art too!

Ya know - my mother, God rest her soul, was very active on a commission in Addison for decades called the 'Cultural Arts Commission'. Throughout the years they brought ballets, plays, symphony, art shows, etc. to various theater outlets, i.e. usually the high school auditoriums. Sometimes would have an Artist in Residence too. For years this commission tried to get an area or Center to have more of these performances or shows displayed. Finally and recently, Addison approved to get this 'center', since they do not have a 'downtown' area. Just an idea for our village. Having a 'Cultural Arts Commission'. I believe Elmhurst has one too. Often time Elmhurst and Addison would share shows and performances. Maybe Wheaton has one too?
