We were thinking about checking out the restraurant in the Crowne Plaza - the old Holiday Inn at Roosevelt and Finley.

Has anyone been there yet?

Their website doesn't seem to work - which is not a great sign!

We have been there twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. They try to use local produce and meat. It is a nice addition to GE. Reasonably priced.

I am fairly certain that given a cape and a nice tiara, I could save the world.

Cool - thanks!
We're going to a show at COD tonight with a couple from Elmhurst, and wanted to eat out beforehand.

We got one of those coupons in the mail-and decided to check it out. We both enjoyed our choices. We will be going back.

We used our coupon last night. It's a lovely place inside; we were really impressed with the decor. The food was reasonably priced, and pretty good (I thought it was a bit underseasoned, but that was all.)

The service was a little off, though; probably the usual new establishment kinks. I was stuck looking at my dinner without the glass of wine I'd ordered with it for far too long - there was a mix up between the waiter and the bartender. But then, when I finally got my waiter's attention (and thus, the wine), he offered to take it off the bill as an apology.

Overall, we think we'll wait another month, and give it another try.

Went on Friday.
Enjoyed the experience. A very pleasant room, all of the food was very good, service was adequate, and prices were not overly high.
Seemed to be a pretty steady flow of diners keeping the room at least 1/2 full.
Can't remember the last time I was in a public space where everything was so brand-spanking new!
