Went to my first Tap House Grill Beer pairing dinner tonight. (Yes, I know, my stuff is hanging on their walls, but I gotta tell you, it was awesome). Rogue Brewery represented with Todd the Chef pairing up Rogue's unique beers with some killer food. Duck with Corn pudding, Shrimp Lollipops with grapefruit salad, crab mouse, braised lamb and a killer mocha desert thang paired up with some excellent Rogue beers. It was really, REALLY excellent and the price of $40 a person was easily worth every penny.
Props to the guys at THG for a very enjoyable dinner. Next months is March 11 with a a few European beers along with a Fosters bitter.
FYI, TODD, you gotta put that Duck on the menu!!!

funny! That was a bad typo. You know what I meant!
But while we were there last night, we saw a commercial for that show with the crazy dude that eats weird food, and he was eating mouse on a stick on the commercial, in HD, yum.
