Why do you call him 50 cent Tony? I call him Toll Booth Tony. Like the tollway he has raised his prices and now asks me for a buck each time I pass. Oh yea, I decided not to come to the clean-up when all you guys show up. (Clam has really hurt my feelings and called me names.) I'm going to hire Robert to fill in for me. I'm sure he could use the money. He's the one guy I like! He has a broom, a bike and more drive than anyone at public works. "For just a couple of bucks" he will sweep your sidewalk spotless, clean out the drain and see to it that all the crap gets in the can. He will even give tips on how to keep the area cleaner and follow up on a regular schedule! I like this guy!

FYI. We used to live behind the Prarie Path in Wheaton, just a short stroll from the PADS HQ in Wheaton. My Dad tried to fight it/them in the mid 90's. They threatened to sue him for attempting to block/obstruct/discriminate against fair housing.

N.E.? Or N.W.? The N.E. corner would be useless as cars don't when they are northbound. I realize it's a minor detail...but if you don't plan for success, it will never come.

Not to put an end to your Schadenfreude, but a representative from PADS called me today. We had a very good and constructive conversation. They will be taking some action to try and improve the situation here in GE on Thursday and Sunday nights. I still think we need to approach the village about cleaning more and better and perhaps have PADS representatives at the table to discuss what we can do as a community to provide service but not be overrun.

By the way, I like the guy in the grocery basket - looks comfy.
