I heard about this on the radio. Libertyville's downtown alliance was promoting this, Naperville was and so was Lombard.
Which one of our 3 downtown business organizations promoted it in Glen Ellyn? Small Business Saturday It's the spending, Stupid! |

I don't know if any of the organizations did, but I know a lot of the businesses did. I recently spoke with many CBD retailers who actually informed me of it. I just wish it was a little more publicized. If we can have a Glen Ellyn Style billboard, surely we coule promote something to attempt to save our CBD.

For the record, DTM....if you read the GE Patch more often, you'd have known about Small Business Saturday on Friday. Just saying.

I noticed that sponsor American Express had been heavily publicizing the event in full page newspaper ads and other media for the past few weeks.
