I'm a bachelor all weekend long and Potts wife hates him so I think we are both equally available. What ACQ lacks in athleticism he makes up for in youth and an abundance of orange garb. I simply call everything you hit out to gain my advantage. It's a failsafe approach. I cannot play early on Sunday morning as I have a religious commitment to attend (8 am Mass paddle tournament).

I am a dyslexic agnostic insomniac.
I lay awake at night wondering if there is a dog.

it's not a "thank you sir may i have another" Mass paddle tournament is it? as far as calling my shots out, it's easy to do when playing against me. in fact, i've had opponents become hoarse during our matches.

on another note, and since you're bachelor guy this weekend, we're looking for another poker player for a friendly neighborhood game tonight at my place. do you play? i've asked clam, but he keeps ignoring me. (actually, now that i've asked you, he'll probably jump right on it. it's good to know how to "work" his i'm-the-center-of-attention disfunction.)

I have a guest that is staying with us from Manhattan....Upper East Side. She'll be in for a bit of culture shock when she gets to GE.

I do play, but not very much or very well. I am probably not going to be home this evening as I have a grudge match later today with a couple of guys at Skokie CC. After we dispatch them on the court, they will be on the hook for dinner and drinks. But now that I think about it, if that Wii is just laying around the house......

I just sit here in envy of you Fish when I read about your life.

Your wife knocks down a cool million a year and you frolic the north shore playing games and drinking. God, to be reborn as Fish.

Please let me know where she put it all!!!!! And when you are done with that, remind me of the country club you belong to again, because I belong to the Village Links and even that downstroke was a stretch for me.

Went to Subway today and what looked to be a gangbanger was taking forever to make sandwiches for two people. The prospects of getting anything in a timely manner seemed bleak. So...went across the street and went to Potbelly's. Parking lot crowded, but no one in line. Everything went smoothly...except for the 65 year-old woman who could not man the register. First charged me incorrectly, then gave me too little change...called the manager over...he opened the register...then she gave me back my original twenty....called the manager over...then gave me the correct change.

Poor little thing...my guess is she will be gone by week's end.

I'll have to check out their service time. I've found that the 'burb Potbelly's aren't quite as efficient (time spent waiting in line) as the ones in the city...

Finally checked out P.B. this afternoon. Used the $15 gift card I had won at work. Mrs. '58 and I get a couple drinks and two sandwiches. Very good food for the money. Even had $4 left on the card when we were done. Live music - very crowded. Worth the trip if you don't mind a loud dining experience.
