Does anyone know of any relatively decent-priced dinner theaters in the 'burbs? Aside from Pheasant Run, that is.

I have a friend coming in from NY and I'd like to take him to a show, but can't afford an arm and a leg, so any suggestions would be helpful Smile

I didn't know they ever did dinner there! Hmmm....definitely something to check on, though. Thanks, DTM Smile

I was absolutely dreading going to the Buddy Holly Story at Drury. Food was decent and reasonably priced . . . and the full bar made the show seem like it was excellent. At 45, I was easily the youngest person there. I think Oak Brook requires them to have an ambulance and paramedics on site for every show.

Dinner theater is is not, but good local theater at North Central College. Go see Sweet Charity, featuring Glen Ellyn's own Becky Messerschmidt. You can take you pick of dinner in Naperville and walk to the show. Only a few shows left, it's lots of fun, and Becky is great.

North Central's performance of Diary of Anne Frank a few years back was brillant.

I've seen one show there. Coincidently, I performed CPR on the man 2 rows up while we had a 30 minute unplanned intermission.

Hey, kids have field trips there all the time!

Thanks Music for Fun and Lupe! I'll be looking into both of those.
