No one should really feel bad for her, or "citygirl" (which lets be honest, was probably her). Sadly, each issue stems away from the orginal format of the magazine and is a cheap copy cat of the other community magazines in the area. If they ever came up with an orginal idea I would die of shock. Until then, I'll just have to keep throwing my copy in the garbage, where it belongs.
Also, with a little research one would be suprised to find out this lady's track record with plagiarism lawsuits and such...

This thread reminds me that we never received our January copy of The Glancer. I wonder if after the City Girl incident the remaining mailings were scrapped. February's issue, however, arrived in a timely manner. Never did get to read the (supposedly included in Jan.) story they did on Mrs. '58.

'58, I still have our January copy if you would like it.
I am fairly certain that given a cape and a nice tiara, I could save the world.

Thanks, Scotty. We received the January '08 issue in the mail after requesting a copy. Nice piece, but contained some errors. The photo of Mrs'58 was very good.
Also, I finally got to read City Girl's restaurant list for myself. Gawd!

How would you find that out? Would it be a matter of public record? I know someone who is hoping to get a job there. Sounds like she should do a little research first.

I do too...what a misguided talent...she created The Island of Misfit Restaurants with such ease! I'm sure there is a government position available for her somewhere.
