Yoss,
The interactive website is being done,at no cost, through a very generous offer by Houseal Lavigne who was the other planning planning firm bidding on the Downtown Plan.
They do a superior job with their websites.
It should be live in the next few weeks I believe.
I will let you know.
See you in the AM[/QUOTE]

This is interactive, You get to circle the CBD and you get to put an "X" on the map you believe is the worst part of the CBD. (I'm putting mine on Grace Lutheran!)

Candidate-I thought the Village was going to take this on? No matter, just glad to know it will be up & running soon. Thanks for the 411. I do need to talk to you about a matter of the utmost urgency tomorrow.

Missed a late train this morning and got ample time to walk/drive around several areas of the village. All topics on this BB considered, we really do live in a beautiful community and are fortunate.

Just wanted to thank the BB crew that cleaned up the stretch of Crescent last Sunday a.m., apparently during a one-man fashion show. It really looks much better. Your efforts did not go unnoticed and are appreciated. Smile Thanks!

Agreed. The Mrs. and I went to Brix Pizza in Lombard Tuesday night to get a pie to go (tasty pizzas BTW). Instead of waiting around in the place, we walked around the downtown area of Lombard. Um, you can eat off the ground in downtown GE compared to Lombards downtown area. Empty store fronts everywhere with no hope of being leased, broken beer bottles in front of an establishment right next to the train station, a guitar shop that has not been vacuumed in 20 years, and really nothing else to visit in our attempt to kill the 15 minutes we had until the Pizza was done. And this was at 5:00 PM. We could have hung out at the White Hen/7-11 or whatever it is, or the gas station.

The downtown area in Glen Ellyn is a very pretty little place, one of the reasons why we moved here. That and Figo's carpaccio.

Hey...one of my neighbors owns that guitar shop. Doesn't surprise me about your observation. They are in a disco band, and describe themselves as rock n' roll Republicans! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

They had a couple sweet axes in there though! One was in parts but I was pretty tempted to ask him how much. I then realized that I was never any good as a guitar player and would never practice, so I came to and left.
