While as a taxpayer in GE, I don't mind spending some money on the CBD, since I live in the derided SOR area, I'm always happy to see new businesses in my neck of the woods...and I'd also be happy to see tax dollars going to improve the Roosevelt corridor.
Honestly, though - why would anyone do the CBD if they could find a spot of Roosevelt that's affordable? Unless they only want to be open between 10:00 and 5:00.

I had to access the memory banks for a minute to bring back wings and things. Wings and Things was pre-rehab of that little strip mall. I don't think they've ever filled that corner space since the rehab.

Technically . . . across from neither. It is directly across from Alfie's. Roughly three to four blocks west of the Shell. On the opposite side of the street.

So, technically, you were lying when you said it was "directly" across the street from McDonalds. So disappointing to see you mislead someone like this. Especially DTM who can't tell north from south.
