Yea, what fish said. Although Sushi Inn is far more quiet.
Perplexed's sushi rule number one: If the guy behind the counter's name is Justin or Jose, keep going. I want my sushi made by a guy that looks like he just fell of the boat from Japan

We love Oysy too. Sushi good and the small plates are excellant as well. Prior to moving the GE a couple of years ago, we lived near the South Loop locale and it was a semi-frequent stop. Good atmosphere. Coast is great in South Loop as well. Joy Yee just opened a sushi place just down the row in New Chinatown (actually in the original Joy Yee space). Haven't been but decor looks pretty cool.
For the original poster, there is actually an Oysy at Oak Brook mall now that opened recently. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Ted E.,
If you aren't up for going to the city, both the sushi place in Danada and Sushi Inn on Roosevelt are good. Both have those little "rooms" that you could probably reserve so it's more intimate (other than the big window you're sitting next to).
Have fun and Happy Anniversary!
