Hoffman Park in Glen Ellyn?

You're probably thinking of the Hoffman Park that is on the west edge of town, between Hill Ave and the Prairie Path, just east of the Wheaton College Ave train x-ing. This is a Wheaton Park District facility w/ a playlot, soccer field, and baseball diamond.

You're definitely thinking of the Hoffman Park in Lombard....as camden said.....it is just north of Western Acres golf course off of 53.

My guess....lacrosse related....as this is GW's new lacrosse field. We have to rent field space from other communities. Because you people are too awful and too cheap to pay for turf at West.

Very good JRB...actually a co-worker needed to know because her son plays lacrosse for a club and will be playing there this evening.

My brothers actually grew up playing softball at this park...I just never knew it was Hoffman.

I never knew it was Glen Ellyn either...thought it was Wheaton.

I am aware of the Hoffman Park in Lombard as I live in Butterfield East.

Hoffman Park inButterfiled East is off of Gray Ave by Butterfield Elementary School. (Or behind the Peace Lutheran Church on Butterfield.)

Am I missing something or misreading? The park you want should be right next to your house. EAST of Western Acres and north of 53. It isn't in GE...or Wheaton....technicklely it is in Lombard...I guess. That's the one you want.

There are 2 Hoffman Parks...1 in Glen Ellyn and 1 in Lombard...I was looking for the one in Glen Ellyn.

I don't think so...he goes to York, but since York does not have a team, he plays for a private club. I will check, maybe she didn't realize it's in Lombard and not Glen Ellyn.

There is a G Dub JV game scheduled at Hoffman today against York. York's team is a club right now.

That is the park next to Western Acres. Go there.

I just asked her and she said he was playing Glenbard, so I told her she needed the Hoffman Park in Lombard. Don't be surprised if half the team is missing as they are all looking for Hoffman Park in Glen Ellyn.
