Well, it looks like the Interim Director of the G E PD will be chosen soon. It appears the likely candidates are long time employees Dave Scarmardo and Kathleen Esposito.

I wonder if Scarmudo has disclosed to the Board his adult son's employment history with Park District vendor Earthwerks? Just how many non bid contracts has this vendor received? Didn't they also get an award from Scarmudo last year as well?

I see the board also elected officers for 2011. How can that occur prior to the election? Shouldn't the new board seated in April/May have a say in that? especially if say one of the officers didn't survive re-election?
