Okay, now I hope somebody can explain this to me. We live very close to Sunset Pool. I have grown accustomed to seeing the snowplow busily plowing out the parking lot at the pool, every time it snows. (Though I do have to ask, "Why would they do that?").

Now this morning I saw a mega-snow blower removing the snow from the pool deck, inside the fence. I really, truly have to ask, WHY THE HECK ARE THEY REMOVING SNOW FROM THE POOL??? I cannot think of any rational explanation for such behavior. Remember, this is a facility that is used strictly from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Explanations would be greatly appreciated.

I believe it's to protect the pool liner from wrinkle damage cause by melting snow.
