Not only do you sound like Mike McCaskey, but you speak the same MBA blatherspeak. You own the club. You were a bleacher bum. You love the Cubs. Now find someone to run the club who does their job without driving you into bankruptcy, and everything will be fine.
For reference on mistakes made by new owners, please refer to when Jerry Reinsdorf and Eddie Einhorn took over the Sox. They had their own time on the radio. They thought that, because their families and friends thought they had a great sense of humor and baseball, they could replace Bill Veeck. They were called the Sunshine Boys. They failed miserably in the PR department, because the fans really don't want to like the owner. Rocky Wirtz will learn that lesson when the winning curve is over.
So Tom. From a Sox fan. Shut up before you announce that you have hired Mike Murphy as a consultant.

Hey, Rocky was liked by the real fans as soon as he took over....as in, BEFORE they started winning again. Rocky made the seats far more affordable AND put the home games on tv again! That's a liked owner in my book >:P

I am looking at an 07-08 schedule where the lowest price was $10 for an advance purchase of "cheap seats" in the 300 level. SRO is $27 now! You must be in a fluky section/row on the fringe of the price tiers that got lucky. Congrats!
