Rooting for them or not?

I can't help it...I'm a fan.

* Randy Moss just dropped a 56 yard pass....so what happened next play...he caught a 60+ yard TD. Amazing.

Not.
I used to like them until Tom Brady stopped being someone I could respect. Plus, a team that wins too much gets to be really annoying. Finally, I'd like to see the OTHER Manning quarterback get some recognition.

First, if you must root for teams with players you can respect I assume you don't root for any NFL, NBA or MLB teams.

Second, the other Manning quarterback doesn't get any recognition because he stinks.

Third, sorry I missed you guys yesterday.

Fourth, I noticed my post was moved...to he CHICAGO AREA sports category. Smile

You have to love a guy that was drafted in the 6th round, destined to be a professional backup, and become one of the best quarterbacks that I have seen in my 37 years.

I am even happy for Moss, even though he is a major pud, he has been awesome this year.

I do not cheer for too many individuals in the NBA, NFL, or MLB ...I realize that they are fawned over and it goes to their heads but I am more impressed by the ones that seem to keep their feet planted on terra firma while staying loyal to their significant others and being good examples to the very children who so admire them. There are a few of them. I used to have a very high regard for Micheal Jordan...

The other Manning does pretty darn well but gets little/no respect - as is deomonstrated via your post. In case you hadn't noticed, the NY Giants' score was very close last night against an undefeated team with an incredible post-season track record. I think that deserves some respect. I definitely think that qualifies him to not be accused of "stinking".

Sorry you missed the get-together too. Maybe next time.

Overall, it was a great game.

Amy-What has Tom Brady done to lose your respect? Please tell me it's not the kid out of wedlock. Me thinks there are two sides to that story.

Sorry I missed the gathering on Friday. I actually could have gotten out on Friday if it wasn't for the cancellations by UAL.

What has he "done"?

Give the guy a break...he doesn't know if he likes blondes or brunettes.
