The story should have said "Former Illini football player." Happens at every school...but IIRC, War Mem Stad has artificial turf. Kid should be smarter than that.

I'd love to see the size of the guy this 6'6" 300# "gentle giant" smacked. And it says the eyewitlesses had been boozing for 6-8 hrs - how about the 19 year-old combatants? Any action against the proprietor?
